The staff went above and beyond in ensuring I felt welcomed and at ease, offering valuable recommendations for a delightful hike to Peer Gynt hytta. The cozy lounge area, adorned with mountain-themed books, not only offered stunning views but also a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration. Despite some initial concerns about the room's retro 50's style, I found it surprisingly charming, and the cleanliness was impeccable, offering a comfortable retreat. The generous complimentary Norwegian breakfast was a highlight, showcasing local flavors and sustaining me for a day of adventure. With its warm atmosphere, attentive staff, and attention to detail, Hogfjellshotell truly exceeded my expectations, making it a memorable and delightful stay in the stunning Norwegian surroundings.
